Every night for homework, students will be asked to read for at least 30 minutes and record this on a Weekly Reading Log. Below you will the 7 Habits of Great Readers. Reading every single day is critical to a child's success!

Typically if work is not completed in school, students may be asked to complete assignments for homework. Students in 6A will need to show that they are putting forth their best efforts throughout the day. If they are not making the most out of their time, they will be asked to complete their work at home and hand it in the next morning. If the assignments are not completed for homework, they may be asked to stay in for the morning recess to catch up.

In addition, over the course of the year, students will have a few long term projects. These projects will have deadlines and I will conduct check-ins with them to make sure they are planning accordingly.
